We had 19 people attend this month's meeting. We had our community launch event for Windows Vista! Mark Davey presented this for us, Thanks Mark. We had a good discussion and Mark had a well put together presentation outlining some of the key features.
I'd also like to thank Keller Schroeder for supplying our group with Turoni’s pizza and drinks for this meeting. I know everyone really enjoyed it. As always, if your company would be interested in supplying the group with food for one of our monthly meetings contact me.
We gave away all kinds of free stuff at this meeting, 5 copies of Windows Vista Business, 4 copies of Windows XP Pro, 4 copies of Office 2003 Pro, and many more..I think everyone who attended the meeting got something! Visit the Resources section of our site to download the TrueCrypt program that is a freeware utility similar to the new BitLocker feature in Windows Vista.
Our next meeting is Wednesday March 14th for our first discussion about the .NET Framework 3.0, specifically we’ll discuss Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
